Each month, Statistical Surveys releases the latest marine registration data, providing the numbers behind effective dealer strategies.
Starting in May 2026, our team will make a small but impactful change to the data release schedule, for our customers’ benefit. We know dealers have a lot on their plates, so we’ve provided an adjustment window for easier planning.
The value we offer remains as strong as ever. In fact, by minimally shifting our update delivery time, we can take the time to deliver more robust, complete data.
Clearer Insights: Only Two Months Away
SSI’s market share data enables dealers to make informed decisions. To better serve our marine industry customers, we plan to slightly adjust our data release window. Instead of sending updates on the 23rd or 24th of the month, SSI will relay them on the 27th or 28th of the month.
The new release schedule will go into effect in May 2026, improving dealers’ access to complete and useful data. March and April updates will proceed as usual. If dealers have any questions or concerns as they adjust, SSI welcomes them to reach out directly.

- Additional Quality Checks: Our dealers deserve the best. Investing a little extra time into the process means that our team can execute additional quality checks for marketplace data.
- More Complete Data: Knowing the big picture makes all the difference. This update allows SSI to gather more complete data, such as potentially delayed files. It also reduces the frequency of omitted states.
- A Stronger Foundation for Dealers: Whether they’re on the lot or online, our dealers see the impact of strong data every day. With our improved updates, they have the formula for a robust sales strategy delivered right to their inbox.

For more than 65 years, dealers have trusted SSI to bring them impactful market share data. That fact won’t change; if anything, the resources dealers already trust will get even smarter, starting May 2026.
